Our kits of period underwear are made with natural fibres, absorbent cotton, and a waterproof layer. Our period undies are made without chemicals or silver nanoparticles. So you could say they're not just made to respect your mucous membrane – they're also made to respect the environment!
Materials in our menstrual underwear:
Our daytime undies have a thin anti-leak layer with protection equivalent to a panty liner. That means you can use them alone or with a removable pad for added absorption.
- 94% cotton and 6% lycra
Materials in the built-in layer:
- A thin layer of 100% cotton
- 1 layer of cotton fleece
- 1 waterproof anti-leak layer
Materials in each of the 3 removable pads:
Our removable and washable pads offer three times your usual protection and have anti-leak strength equivalent to a conventional pad.

Materials in our leak-proof carrying bags:
The bag's equally divided into two sections, one for your used pads and the other for your fresh ones. Say goodbye to plastic bags!

Composition of the night panty:
It has a leak-proof protective layer equivalent to an extra-long sanitary pad. It can therefore be used as-is. You don't have to get up at night to change your protection!
- Cotton panties (94%) – Lycra (6%)
Materials in the built-in layer:
- 1 thin layer of 100% cotton
- 3 fleece cotton layers (over a larger area)
- 1 waterproof anti-leak layer

Rinse:
Soak for 15 minutes in cold water or rinse under cold tap water and wring out gently to extract blood.
Repeat if necessary, until the water becomes clear.
Pre-wash (optional):
Dissolve one of Mme L’Ovary’s special laundry capsules in a sink or bucket full of warm water, and let your items soak for 15 minutes.
Wash:
By machine or by hand (with cold or lukewarm water). Use a biodegradable mild soap.
Dry:
Dry flat or hang outside. Avoid the dryer as much as possible, but you can use it for about 15-20 minutes at low temperatures to make sure everything is dry.
Share (optional):
Dig a hole in the ground and pour the pre-wash water at the foot of a tree, in your garden, or in your houseplants (dig a hole and cover with soil once your offering has been made).
